Oops

The website I mentioned in my last post proved more valuable than, even I had anticipated. It was great practice, sure, but having an audience using what I’ve created and who actually care if it works seems to make a gigantic difference.

Soon after posting the website the complaints came a flooding in. Well one trickled in a couple days later. But that isn’t any less significant. There was a problem. And a major one. His contact forms were failing to display properly in Internet Explorer. Go figure. Anyway the problem was they were left pretty much unusable. In my opinion. All kidding aside it is no-one’s fault but my own. Sorry Chris. Continue reading Oops

Talk About A Long Time In Coming

Well I’ve been much busier these past two months than I was expecting. In terms of being on this damn computer. I’ve been busy modernizing (a.k.a. Implementing web standards) to my buddy Chris’ business website. It took a really long time for what it is. Don’t get me wrong. I’m quite proud of what I was able to provide. It’s pretty lean and simple. Graphically and from a code perspective. And, for what it’s worth, I’m not finished. That’s right, pushing them. With a forklift! Continue reading Keeping Them Honest?

Today's Empires Album Cover

You know, I couldn’t possibly hope to successfully describe just how I’m feeling about life right now. Not my life, specifically, but that of life in general. Let me tell you, it feels pretty fucking shitty…

I had an opportunity to read the article, “People Are Still Scared Of Expressing Themselves,” which recently appeared in the Ottawa Citizen. It was regarding a woman from East Timor, named Bella Galhos. Yep, that’s right, the person who inspired the song “Mate Ka Moris Ukun Rasik An.”

What’s it been, nearly 7 years since Today’s Empires, Tomorrow’s Ashes was released? And, sadly, today I finally, fully understood what Chris is singing about. Continue reading Nothing More To Say
