A friend who posed a set of questions for yours truly to answer for a school paper she is to write just left. It seems I slightly misunderstood the premise. She didn’t necessarily need me to write out every answer and hand them, complete to her. Which I did. She was to interview me and ask her questions and jot down my answers. She only forwarded me the questions as a “heads up” gesture. So I could think about and plan my answers, I guess. But what’s done is done.

But what was most compelling was the conversations that ensued. You see, she worked with me early on in my rehabilitation and was witness to much of what she asked. She able to add some to my thoughts. Things I forgot, was unaware of or, yes even hadn’t considered. Continue reading Interview

Talk About A Long Time In Coming

Well I’ve been much busier these past two months than I was expecting. In terms of being on this damn computer. I’ve been busy modernizing (a.k.a. Implementing web standards) to my buddy Chris’ business website. It took a really long time for what it is. Don’t get me wrong. I’m quite proud of what I was able to provide. It’s pretty lean and simple. Graphically and from a code perspective. And, for what it’s worth, I’m not finished. It’s just looking back on the whole journey now, it shouldn’t have taken quite so much time. Oh well.

Anyway a friend asked me to help her out with a paper she needs to write for school. She rocked me a set of questions she wants me to answer on mainstream culture and how I, being a “minority” (speaking as a person of difference) “struggles” integrating into society, given those differences. All Things Come To Pass

Not so long ago in a vehicle not all that far away life took a most interesting turn. I was involved in the MOST spectacular car crash in automotive history…

OK, maybe referring to my accident as a spectacle is excessive, if not a figment of my over-active imagination. Fortunately I was told something a little different. Actually a lot different. No fires. No roll-overs. No explosions. It was nothing more than a big loud bump in the quiet rural night.

But where a few tons of hurried steel stumbling upon a well anchored roadside monstrosity lacked any discernible value, it’s cost landed a legacy through consequence. Simply put, I got “thumped.” Continue reading All Things Come To Pass
