Least of all freedom of speech. In what would seem to be a “better” report this year, versus years past at least, my country (Canada), shockingly, managed — under Conservative rule, no less — to slip  a number of positions to 19th, in the Reporters Sans Frontières, annual Press Freedom Ranking.
