As Norman Finklestein wrote in his book, “The Holocaust Industry;”

“If all the world wants the jews dead, truly the wonder is that they are still alive – and, unlike much of humanity, not exactly starving…”

How, exactly is Israel is able to claim “anti-semitism, bigotry, and extremism,” or more accurately “defamation,” yet carry on oppressing the Palestinian people, much as they have done and continue to do today, without a single hint of accountability, remorse, or even irony? And, much worse is, we’re ALL complicit in allowing these crimes to have happened and continue to happen.

I’m not afraid of going insane for, people, “we” (as a very small-minded species) are already there…

Over the holidays, irrespective of the capitalist and religious inanity that accompanies said time of year, I received my new seating and chair. And, aside from a much more prolonged “adjustment” period than even I was expecting, it is much better than my previous one, thanks.

The only reason I bring this up is on Saturday I, not only accidentally damaged the “flange” (the bit of pipe, in the floor, a toilet sits atop, I assume), but I managed to absolutely smash it. Like I said, I’m still adjusting to this chairs “mannerisms,”  and it got away from me. What can I say? Shit happens. No-one knows that better than I.

So, just yesterday, I finally arranged for a plumber to fix the result of my “rampage.” And who should show up to do the job? The most infamous character the town I grew up in has ever, in my opinion, produced…

It’s damn near impossible to fathom, but it would seem there’s a challenger to the American State’s reign on terror, arrogance, and misinformation;

Why is it I still feel unsure of myself when it comes to commenting on matters concerning the Middle East? And the Israeli Occupation specifically? Because I’ve yet to read enough on the subject to truly understand all of the issues surrounding it? It’s more than possible.

Or is it what I have learned is next to never accurately represented in the media I have the easiest access to? The corporate owned western media? Where reporting their “news” is a business? And, again, people being truly aware is bad for business?

We, like the Palestinians, live on occupied territory. They tell us the news that has been filtered through various “agents” so, when a story finally does appear it’s, at best, only a half truth.

Or, more accurately, lies…
