Not only is today the 34th birthday of my little buddy, but, as it turns out, today also marks the anniversary of another birth. Naturalist, Charles Darwin, was also born, 200 years ago, today.
How fortunate would I be if my “legacy” would land my memory such an extreme honor, to have slews of small-minded people continue to “swear” my birth, centuries later?

Back in December, the 13th to be precise, I posted a piece entitled “CCF Must Think ‘Consumers’ Are Stupid?” In it I cited an article over at Green Is The New Red where the Center for Consumer Freedom, a “group that represents the fast food, meat and dairy industries,â€Â clumsily “tied” The Humane Society to “terrorism” in 6 vague steps.
So in response, Green Is The New Red, “created a little contest called ‘Six Degrees of Consumer Freedom’,†asking their readers “to trump CCF by connecting them to real terrorists in fewer steps.” And, surprise, surprise, they did it, 4 days later. In two steps, no less…
Well apparently, Silvio Berlusconi, Italy’s prime minister said Eluana Englaro, who “died on Monday night, three days after medics had removed her feeding tube, in line with a high court ruling,”1 was “killed.” Was this not the same douche bag who said Eluana was, and I quote, “in the condition to have babies,”2 and that was a reason she should live?
The past couple weeks I’ve been a little pre-occupied with a number of much more pressing personal and global issues than to address the “inevitable.” Not to worry my personal issues are not a concern to anyone but myself. Just wrastling with some overdue work. Not a biggie…
So I guess it was late Saturday, I didn’t get my bell rung ’til Sunday, when Propagandhi announced;
