I was planning on taking it easy today. For whatever reason–I’ve a suspicion those two extra beers last evening didn’t contribute to my “fettered” motivation–what ya gonna do, not watch Dazed And Confused?
I know, shoulda known better than to watch CNN while trying to relax today. What’s done is done…
The big “news” was Barack Obama choosing Joe Biden as his running mate in his quest for the American Presidency. Interestingly it’s painfully compelling to watch the various idiots talk the shit out of a subject. But just before I had my fill John King–the dink who “broke” a story that any Democrat with a cell phone already knew–dropped what I assume is a moment of racism?
Apparently Joe Biden likes to talk. Sometimes he takes his rhetoric too far. And that may not be a “good” thing for a person who needs to be wary of how much he tells people as Vice-President. But what John King said next is what really piqued my interest. He stated that Mr. Biden talking too much could be undesirable and is, to which I’ll quote, “off the reservation?” As in an “Native American” being outside of determined boundaries a government has set for an indigenous people is a bad thing? And more importantly is not necessarily wanted?
What the fuck? Do tell me, have I got that right? Has anyone ever heard this expression before? Who might know what it infers? Thanks…
